Localizada em Nova Prata, na serra gaúcha, a VIPAL iniciou suas atividades em 1973. Pioneira no setor, nacionalizou a vulcanização a frio, iniciando com a produção de manchões e remendos.
Hoje, a VIPAL diferencia-se por ser uma empresa completa, oferecendo toda a linha de produtos para reforma e reparos de pneus e câmaras de ar, desde pequenos reparos para câmaras de ar de bicicletas até mantas de borracha para reforma de pneus gigantes.
Atenta aos mais exigentes padrões internacionais de qualidade, a Borrachas Vipal foi a primeira empresa brasileira do setor certificada pelo ISO 9002. Desde então, a Vipal vem mantendo e aprimorando seu sistema. Em 1998 empresa obteve mais uma conquista, a certificação ISO 9001, em 2001 a ISO 9001 versão 2000 e em 2003, o Certificado de Verificação de Desempenho de Produto pelo INMETRO/IFBQ para as linhas de bandas pré-moldadas e borracha de ligação.
Em 1997, a Vipal estabeleceu uma Rede Autorizada distribuída por todo o Brasil. Foi criada a Reforma Qualificada & Garantida (programa de garantia da Borrachas Vipal, único que contempla a reforma e a carcaça com sua reposição imediata em caso de falha de produto ou de processo, tanto para os processos a frio ou a quente e cobrindo a maioria dos pneus radiais e convencionais disponíveis no mercado).
PROJETO AGRIBUSINESS
Para desenvolver o Projeto Agribusiness, a Vipal estruturou uma equipe técnica especializada; desenvolveu produtos adequados à diversidade de aplicações e características das culturas nacionais; e realizou uma pesquisa com um total de 504 profissionais em 13 estados brasileiros, envolvendo agricultores de grande, médio e pequeno porte, fabricantes de implementos agrícolas, além de revendedores e reformadores de pneus.
A Vipal assina cada reforma com uma etiqueta, identificando o nome do reformador e a marca Vipal. Além disso, tarjas em amarelo com o logo Vipal asseguram ao agricultor que o produto foi reformado com a borracha Vipal original.
Um pneu de trator ou colheitadeira utilizado adequadamente, por exemplo, pode ser reformado por diversas vezes a um custo até 60% inferior ao de um novo, gerando um pneu tão eficiente e seguro quanto um original de fábrica.
